Egon Schiele paintings - He is my favorite artist, and I've been really inspired by his work in my own drawings lately. I've been trying to improve my contour and figure drawing skills, and I love how distorted and angular his work is, and yet the proportions and detail are absolutely brilliant. I think he paints people the way they really are. I can't think of many other artists that have such a profound perspective of humanity. But then again, I'm a writer first, and an artist second. But they're really the same.

Bet you didn't really need to see my face this close up :)The Alexander Wang dress is probably one of my favorite things in my closet right now. I'm going to invest in a pair of American Apparel short shorts to wear underneath, though, because it is juuuust too sheer to wear without. I'm also obsessed with the two racerback tanks I got, black and grey - urgh. I'm going to own everything in every color. Broke? Yes.
